• 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, 06:00 - 18:00/18:00 - 06:00

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Hygiene Team Leader to join our manufacturing site based in Aston, Cheshire. The factory makes chilled speciality bread such as sliced baguettes, hand-crafted flatbreads and dough balls and employs over 375 people in the factory and over 50 in its Crewe Distribution Centre. The site is located approximately 4 miles from Crewe town centre.

Job Accountabilities

• Organise and co-ordinate the allocation of tasks from hygiene and production schedules to trained staff within the area. Ensure that breaks and absences are co-ordinated and covered effectively.
• Ensure GMP standards are effectively monitored and maintained in the area at all times.
• Operate, maintain, and monitor cleaning and tray wash machinery and equipment, including chemical and maintenance checks, escalating any issues to a Hygiene Supervisor or Manager immediately when required.
• Complete safety checks and start-up checks, following required processes and documentation requirements, and take necessary action where deficiencies or non-conformances are found.
• Use of cleaning chemicals, pressure washers and high pressure water hoses.

About You

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• The ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
• Able to resolve routine problems using well defined procedures, identify and respond to trends.
• English language skills at a level that enables explanation of written and verbal instructions, procedures and requirements, thorough and accurate completion of documentation and auditable records.
• Self-motivated and a can do attitude is a must
• Good attention to detail
