Shift Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Shift Manager to oversee and either of our dual dual nightclub venue, Babylon and The Lion.
This is a unique role which requires a resilient leader which has an eye for details, strong understanding of the business model and has excellent communication skills.
The role will require the applicant to work across the weekends and Bank Holidays.
About the venue: Babylon Retro Bar is a retro bar playing the very best of 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s. The Lion is a lavish funky house and club classic night club with it's very own cocktail bar.
The role:
You will be responsible for the running of the bar and keeping your team in check and maintaing high standards to all members of the public.
Manage, develop and train a team in order to improve and develop their skills.
Ordering of Stock and stock reconciling
Cashing up
Banking
Updating the Epos Tills with New Offers
Running The Bar
Ensuring that Company standards are set and maintained in terms of quality of service and be able to actively promote and develop sales skills within the team.
Ensuring that the whole team actively promotes and achieves excellent standards of customer care.
Ensuing that customer issues and complaints are dealt with professionally and courteously.
Responsible for the cleanliness of the bar area and ensure that all requirements (both statutory and Company) are met in relation to Health & Safety.
Ensuring that all administrative requirements are completed in line with Company policy, including banking, stock management, employee records, Health & Safety documentation.
What are we looking for in our ideal Bar Manager?
A passion and energy for people skills and flair for delivering excellent customer service.
Must be very friendly and professional in approach.
At least two years of experience in hospitality.
Experience working within a similar restaurant and bar environment (essential)
