AVC Wise is seeking to employ a Partner Account Manager to join our team. This is an exciting new opportunity to be part of a growing and innovative business.

The role requires an individual to take ownership for the sales and delivery performance for a portfolio of our existing Partners and be the focal point for AVC Wise following their launch/implementation.

You will ensure awareness of the AVC Wise services and be responsible for the success of the Partner reaching their targets through ongoing communication and marketing to employees.

Who we’re looking for

Your main responsibilities in this role will include:

  • The management of key stakeholders within client organisation’s both virtually and in person, to ensure the retention and growth of the client.
  • Establish and agree goals and take-up targets with each of your portfolio of partner organisations and work collaboratively with them to achieve these
  • Working collaboratively with the wider sales team to add new customer organisations, through selling and owning a pipeline to increase sales. Supporting the sales team in maximising new business opportunities to both new and existing customers.
  • Work with senior management to ensure company and personal targets are exceeded through ownership of retention, revenue and new business targets.
  • Work with the relevant internal and external teams to ensure reporting is accurate, including sales activity, forecasts, updates on clients, pipeline reporting and progress on leads as well as articulating any risks or challenges faced.
  • Take ownership and be a point of escalation for the wider sales team for queries across client account, liaise with the client to resolve issues to high levels of satisfaction.
  • Monitor scheme take-up rates on a weekly basis and design and deliver innovative solutions and plans to achieve agreed targets
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the AVC Wise services and ensure this knowledge is passed onto employers to maximise the promotion of all of these to their respective employees
  • Understand and present management information (MI) to clients so that a consultative/advisory approach is applied in client management. This will enable increased awareness of service and usage levels, and also highlight trends and opportunities for our clients to enhance support for their staff, hence delivering mutual benefits.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics
  • Gain commitment from your portfolio of partner organisations to run webinars monthly and ensure that attendance at these is maximised. In addition, for identified partners, ensure the webinars have an employer introduction
  • Build rapport and relationships with the client leads from your portfolio of partner organisations, ensuring they understand the importance and benefits of promoting their benefits consistently to achieve their goals and target
  • Schedule meetings as a minimum quarterly with your portfolio of partner organisations to become a ‘Trusted Business Partner’ not ‘Just a product Provider’
  • Collating feedback and identifying issues from employees from within your owned partner organisations and creating a solution to address them
  • Work closely with your assigned Partner Communications Manager (part of the in-house AVC Wise Marketing Team) and co-ordinate marketing/employee communication plans for each of your portfolio of partner organisations, this includes ensuring the collateral provided is used and dealing with ad-hoc marketing requests
  • Produce regular performance reports for the client leads at each of your portfolio of partner organisations for benefit take up, customer service performance and feedback from employees who attended webinars and individual meetings
  • Be a part of all meetings from the launch of the partnership with the Implementation Manager for a continuous relationship and to ensure activity momentum is maintained
  • Maintaining and updating the CRM system daily with all contact notes, activities, tasks and meeting reports to enable effective customer management and reporting
  • Maintain and update relevant systems with information to enable effective customer management, reporting and invoicing.
  • Gathering evidence for testimonials and case studies to promote the company’s products to potential customers

A bit about you

You will have previous experience in a similar Sales/Account/Relationship/Client Manager role with a history of developing and enhancing relationships .

In addition to this you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Evidence of achieving sales targets
  • History of integrated working within client/partner organisations
  • A true understanding of the word engagement - what it means and the benefits of it for the partners
  • Confidence to handle issues and feedback - both positive or negative, and finding solutions
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a consulting or advisory capacity, that involves identifying customer needs, selling the advantages of services and identifying new products, to address customer and market requirements.
  • Experience in influencing and negotiating with a range of internal and external clients
  • Experience in proactive opportunity generation & nurturing, appointment setting and closing business, with a proven track record of successful account management.
  • An ability to work on several projects at any time
  • Ability to overcome objections and barriers and develop effective solutions
  • Self‐motivated and ability to prioritise busy workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, enthusiastic and ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to build successful strong relationships.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with ability to work independently to tight deadlines
  • A team player with a willingness to collaborate with others to achieve solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a solid foundation of English grammar
