Aromi Caffe is an independent Café and pizzeria company. We offer our customers freshly prepared and authentic Italian food and drinks with a Sicilian twist. Our recipes date back to 1957. Duties and Responsibilities
The duties include all work normally covered by that job title or as otherwise directed by your immediate manager. In particular, you will carry out the following:
- To deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes, following shop’s order forms, on a daily basis.
- To deliver any paperwork and marketing material prepared by the office team to the company’s shop on a daily basis
- On occasion, deliver catering directly to customers following routes and time schedule
- To ensure every delivery is received on time
- To receive and process external deliveries
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- To complete paperwork for the vehicle check and maintenance
- To assist in ensuring a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed
- To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems
- To report any problems to the shift leader/ supervisor or to one of the directors
- On performing your duties, exercise them with due diligence and loyalty such knowledge skill and expertise as may be reasonably be expected of a person carrying out such duties
Requirements
- Valid driving licence
- Polite and hard-working with a can-do attitude
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Exceptionally clean and tidy
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team, willing to learn
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: Up to £26,000.00 per year
