Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support an adult male with his complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a friendly gentleman in his 70s who is looking for dedicated and reliable Healthcare Assistants who can support him throughout the day and night.

He currently lives in Selby with his wife and often has visitors from his friends in the local village, as well as their children and always welcomes his care team into his loving home with a big smile and a happy mood.

His hobbies include listening to music, reading, watching YouTube videos on his tablet, and having a good discussion with those around him.

Throughout the day you will be there to assist his wife in helping with his personal care needs, while still promoting as much independence as possible.

During the night you will be observing him on a 1:1 basis and although he usually sleeps well, you will be there to offer support as and when needed.

Experience with complex clinical care is not essential we provide thorough training to upskill your current skill set.

Essential Experience Required

• 3 months previous care experience
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling
• Medication Administration

Desirable Experience

• PEG Feeding (nutrition and medication)
• Tracheostomy Care
• Ventilation management

We have the following shifts available;

• Part Time- 20 hours per week
• Days- 11am-5pm
• Nights- 9pm-9.30am

A welcome bonus of £150 is currently being paid to all new candidates

Weeknights £15.50 £186 approx. per 12 hour shift

Saturday £16.00 £192 approx. per 12 hour shift

Sunday £17.50 £210 approx. per 12 hour shift

Bank Holidays £20.00 £240 approx. per 12 hour shift
