Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Social Work

The Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine, and Social Care offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including BA and MA Social Work, Social work Apprenticeship and CPD provision as part of our Advanced master’s in social work. Our dynamic approach ensures that our students receive a high quality, research-informed, educational experience.

We have internationally excellent research in education, social work, and social policy, and have several world-leading nursing and healthcare researchers in our faculty. You will have a Degree plus PhD or Professional Doctorate near completion.

We are seeking an experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Social Work to join colleagues in our Social Work department and further develop our undergraduate and postgraduate provision. You will support module delivery both via distance learning and in the classroom on our Social Work courses and maintain your currency of practice to inform course and module development. Appointment to this role will require satisfactory enhanced children's barred list check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
