The Amazon Shipping team is looking for an innovative Senior Marketing Automation Manager to take on the unique opportunity to shape and own the marketing tech stack, including our automated email framework, defining and implementing global practices in our Marketing Automation platform.

We are seeking a data-driven, organized and passionate individual, who can dive deep to improve process efficiency and solve problems for global stakeholders. A proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment is strongly preferred.

You are the ideal candidate if you can:
  • Work at both the strategic and tactical level to champion bold, innovative automation and reporting
  • Gather detailed business requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders (marketing, tech teams, etc.) and collaborate closely to deliver global solutions
  • Leverage automation to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organisation scaling at rapid pace
  • Manage multiple projects gracefully and balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment

Key job responsibilities
  • Define and implement the marketing automation roadmap to scale practices internationally, launch new features, suggest new investments.
  • Partner with our global Marketing teams to identify automation opportunities in order to reduce the manual emailing effort.
  • Perform technical project management of the marketing automation development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design/development, testing, configuration, and advanced administration.
  • Own and maintain the system/data integrity of our Marketing Automation platform
  • Plan and build scalable reporting mechanisms and propose relevant Marketing metrics
  • Own the design and development of a robust data model within the marketing automation platform
  • Collaborate in developing and continuously optimising lead scoring and management processes
  • Develop standardised processes and programs that allow marketing team members to self-serve in the creation of complex, multi-stage automated marketing programs
  • Collaborate with sales operations on enhancing and troubleshooting issues with the lead management process and integrations with marketing automation platforms

  • Intermediate proficiency with HTML/CSS
  • Familiarity with SQL; experience with analytical tools such as Tableau and ability to dive deep into and create metrics and reporting
  • Project management skills with track record of delivering on-time, within-budget initiatives that meet and achieve goals
  • Motivated self-starter who flourishes with working in ambiguous, complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel projects and deliver quality releases on schedule
