Healthcare Assistant / Administrator

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at the PET-CT Centre in Sheffield as a Healthcare/Clinical Assistant. This position is to help with the expansion of the service for both PET and CT at the site and will be inclusive of Monday to Sunday working.

In this role you will be assisting our Radiographers and helping to prepare patients for their scan and chaperoning where appropriate. Previous healthcare experience would be an advantage and this role does also include some administrative tasks including bookings which full training will be given.

We are rated “Good” with the CQC and have great transport links to city center and meadow hall.

Skills and Experience

Skills:

• Patient care experience/skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills including time management
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Ability to be innovative and forward thinking, troubleshooting and problem solving
• Strong on attention to detail

Experience:

• Must be IT literate
• Able to work well under pressure both independently and as part of a team
• Willing to support with both clinical and administrative duties
