Metal Work Operative

Alitex make Aluminium top-quality greenhouses for customers all over the world.

We are looking for a Metal Fabricator Operative to join our team.

We are happy to help people develop the necessary skills, but you must be hard working and reliable.

Welding and fabrication experience preferred but not essential.

Salary:  Up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience.

• The position is full time. 5 days/week,

Mon – Thurs 07:30 – 16:30, Fri 07:30 – 14:00

• The position is based near Petersfield in Hampshire, please only apply if you are willing and able to work in this location - your own transport is essential.
• Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.
• 22 days holiday per annum, extending to 24 after 1 year’s service.

Role & Responsibilities

• This job role involves preparing aluminium extrusions.
• Preparing the aluminium products for powder coating.
• Using hand & power tools to achieve the desired finish for the powder coating process.
• General support across other areas within the workshop.

Skills Desirable but not Essential

• Use of hand or power tools for metal finishing.
