Alan Howard is the leading supplier to the Hair and Beauty Industry. We are a family run business trading for almost 50 years and employing over 300 employees across the UK.
We are currently looking to recruit a professional person who is ambitious and has a drive to succeed.
We are looking for a professional Sales Representative to promote our amazing Salon Exclusive Professional brands to Professional Hairdressing Salons.
You will have knowledge or experience in either sales or the hairdressing industry.
We are wanting to recruit to cover in the Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
Working with global leading premium professional brands, Magi:Colour, Joico, Amika, Alfa Italia, Nanokeratin Systems and more which offer salons superior quality professional hair products, education and business support.
The Role:
The role of the Sales Representative is to build relationships with Salon owners and be responsible for building sales through presentation, education, merchandising and enthusiasm.
This is a field based business to business role, you will be responsible for your own territory and postcode areas and will make face to face client calls into salons to expand current business and prospect for new business.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Be hard working with a motivated and positive approach. You will have commercial awareness and sales skills with a positive ‘can do / will do’ attitude. You will have good numeracy skills & IT skills (including a knowledge of social media) and be target focused.
A complete self motivator, excellent communicator, with an excellent telephone manner, good organisation skills and well presented with a real passion for our industry.
As a Professional Sales Representative, we will provide you with full in-depth product education and quality sales training. A company car, basic salary, phone & iPad and excellent, unlimited rates of commission will also be provided.
