    Talent Acquisition Co-ordinator

    Purpose of the Role

    This is an exciting opportunity to join AirTanker’s People and Culture team, at a time of development and innovation. 2023 is an exciting year for us, with implementation of a best-in-class Applicant tracking system, opening up opportunities to improve employer branding, Candidate experience and ED&I.

    We are seeking a proactive recruitment professional, who enjoys building talent pipelines, and is excited about getting involved in continuous improvement projects.

    The role of Talent Acquisition Co-ordinator is to provide support to the Talent Acquisition Lead by delivering progressive, compelling and relevant recruitment campaigns to aid AirTanker’s People Strategy and to promote AirTanker as an employer of choice.

    Job Responsibilities


    Recruitment Advertising and Sourcing:

    • To write and post job adverts on various recruitment channels
    • To carry out the initial screening of candidate applications and update candidates and Hiring Managers on the hiring process
    • To provide support with sourcing candidates (via LinkedIn, CV databases etc)
    • To support the Talent Acquisition Lead in the development and management of talent pools/pipelines and with the development of our employer brand

    Co-ordination/Administration:

    • To arrange and confirm interviews with candidates and the Hiring Manger
    • To assist and coordinate candidate assessments pre/post interview
    • To manage candidates through the People System/ATS workflow
    • To manage the Careers mailbox, ensuring prompt response and appropriate action is taken to a ensure a suitable resolution
    • To assist the Talent Acquisition Lead with improvement projects
    • To support with onboarding and making sure that candidates have provided all the relevant information and documentation in accordance with AirTanker’s Recruitment Policy

    Candidate Relationships:

    • To be the initial point of contact for the candidate and to maintain communication throughout the recruitment process by responding to queries and providing updates on the recruitment process
    • To proactively contact candidates to explore their interest in AirTanker and the opportunities available
    • To confirm Interviews and Assessments (dates/times etc)

    Hiring Manager Relationships:

    • To arrange and support recruitment kick off meetings
    • To liaise with the Hiring Manager to maintain momentum on recruitment activity (i.e. feedback on CV submissions, interview feedback etc)
    • To respond to queries relating to the recruitment process

      The Individual


      To thrive in this role, you will have:


    • Recruitment experience working in an in-house, or agency recruitment role
    • Demonstrable resourcing experience, supporting the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle
    • Ability to build effective and strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
    • An accurate, confidential, self-motivated work ethic, and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
    • Good communication skills – written and verbal
    • Experience of high-volume recruitment and processes – (Desirable)
    • Experience of Aviation and or Defence Sectors – (Desirable)
    • Marketing experience – (Desirable)
    • HR Systems and Recruitment ATS experience (Desirable)
    • Experience in attracting and recruiting skilled technical roles (Desirable)
