Working within our security team provides a challenging and interesting role that covers a wide variety of responsibilities.

It is essential you have good communication skills, are able to work within a team environment and the ability to think on your feet.

Some of the roles performed by the security team are as follows:

• Interacting with customers and staff
• Customer enquiries and resolving customer issues
• Dealing with first aid
• Issues relating to lost children and vulnerable persons
• Dealing with lost and found property
• Safety checks within the company premises

Through the tact and efficiency of our security team provides a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

It’s important to mention that you will be in a customer-facing role. Even as a member of our security team, you will be responsible for delivering fun, laughter, joy, happiness, and pure magic to the public. Our customers’ experience really is in your hands, and that’s why we’ll expect you to:

• Welcome guests with warmth, positivity and friendliness – and deliver the same experience when they leave
• Pro-actively interact with customers wherever possible
• Display positive body language, showing energy and enthusiasm at all times
• Communicate with customers using appropriate, primarily park related, small-talk
• Communicate with customers with an enthusiastic, energetic, positive, friendly and warm tone of voice
• Energise our customers at every opportunity
• Work safely at all times to ensure customers are confident with our health and safety procedures
• Develop a broad knowledge of the park, so you can answer any customer enquires
• Clean rides and workstations where necessary
• We operate a zero drug and alcohol policy, and complete regular testing

Other Information

Shift times vary. Please note that applicants over the age of 18 could be required to work 12 hour shifts.

As part of our Security team you may be expected to work at either Adventure Island or Sealife Adventure, which is only a 5-minute walk away.
