Since 1979, Action Day Elementary School has proven itself as an extraordinary environment for top achievers. Small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and STEAM-integrated curriculum ensure that our students consistently score in the 90+ percentile on statewide tests. However, what many busy parents love the most about our program are the extended-care, including summer and holiday breaks, and onsite extras. The role of Principal will report to our Director of Academic Programs, serving as the school’s educational leader. In this position, you will manage the overall operations of the elementary school, including:
- Establishing and maintaining a nurturing and effective learning environment
- Selecting, supervising, coaching, and supporting an academic staff that lives out our core values and company culture
- Being a positive leader to the administration team
- Curriculum development and overseeing ordering materials
- Family relations
- Assisting with student enrollment
- Plan, organize and direct implementation of all school activities, including Teacher-In Service Days, and drafting school wide calendar of events
- Attend TEAM (Parent Group) functions
- Plan and execute Saturday OH Events with School Administrator
Full compensation package including bonuses and childcare/private education benefit- $90- $160,000/yr.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will come with:
- Several years of teaching experience
- 3-5 years of administration or leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Current Teaching Credential (preferred)
- Masters in Education or Related Field (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
