What a Quality Manager will be doing:

• Manage robust, reliable and consistent education quality processes.
• Lead on the effective implementation of the teaching and learning strategy, providing outstanding success for our learners.
• Lead on contract compliance for all delivery, including internal and external audits including inspections (such as Ofsted)
• Implement standards and activities to ensure ongoing improvement of our service, leading on monitoring against our annual Self-Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan and accompanying targets.
• Accountable for all learning related accreditations, including Matrix, - monitoring and delivering against its annual action plan/s
• Ensuring quality, compliance and consistency of all course delivery through review of lesson plans, regular audit checks and reviews of course/learner paperwork.

• Manage relationships with our awarding organisations, achieving Direct Claims Status for all our accredited delivery, as well as achieving qualification targets.
• To manage Internal Quality Assurance, Including Observations plans, Registrations and Exams processes.
• Lead on CPD activity, ensuring all tutors have development plans, relevant qualifications and regular standardisation training.
• Production of monthly quality reports, highlighting current position across all contracts and leading on actions identified.
• Lead on the development of an engaging and innovative curriculum, aligning learning and best practice into all course development that meets the needs of our communities, ensuring consistency of delivery across accredited and non-accredited course provision.
• Responsibility for all customer feedback, actioning investigation, learning or improvement changes.
• Lead on learner progression and success.
• Leading on safeguarding, ensuring a high-level of support and intervention is delivered when required, working with our Group Safeguarding Officer to ensure robust policies and procedures are in place.

• Education to degree level or can demonstrate relevant equivalent experience
• Teaching qualification or relevant equivalent qualification with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
• Qualified IQA Level 4, or working towards
• Qualified Assessor for example Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
• Excellent knowledge and practical experience of managing Education contracts and Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF).
• Demonstrable evidence of leadership and management development and skills and the management
• An organised individual who can plan and monitor a varied workload
• Strong people skills which encourages others to work collaboratively
• Strong literacy skills with the ability to write clearly and effectively

• This role will be based at our Gainsborough Centre, however you will be expected to travel across all centre sites.
• At least 25 days annual leave every year, with bank holidays on top of this (pro-rata).
