As a team:

You will be joining the Accenture UK/I Quality Engineering Practice which supports multiple industries and a broad range of services from strategic quality engineering consulting advice through to quality engineering delivery across all test fields. As a Performance Test Engineer you will:

  • Get hands-on with groundbreaking technology solutions.
  • Pursue a career based on Non-Functional fields including tooling and technologies, delivering industry leading solutions across all domains of Non-Functional Testing.
  • Identify issues and risks, escalating and providing mitigating actions.
  • Lead preparation, execution or review of Non-Functional Testing.
  • Demonstrate experience in result analysis and presentation of easy to read reports.
  • Learns skills in Performance Tooling such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Neo Load or Workload Scheduler.
  • Become conversant in Analytics Tooling such as Splunk, Google Analytics, Grafana or Kibana.
  • Build upon a good working experience in monitoring tools like App Dynamics

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Deep technology inquisitiveness - focusing on key details whilst appreciating their fit in, and impact to, the end to end architecture.

  • A passion to deliver critical client system to a very high level of resiliency and operability.

  • A detailed understanding of architectural components across sophisticated, multi-tiered architectures.

  • An ability to conduct deep technical analysis – figuring out indicators are key of solution success or failure.

  • A clear thought process for investigating technical issues and steering investigations across wider groups.

  • Validated leadership in implementation of Non-Functional Test Strategies and Test Plans.

  • Ability to working in changing and exciting environments, adapting to changing requirements and priorities at short notice.

  • Defect Management lifecycle experience, including tooling such as JIRA, Bugzilla or HP ALM.

  • Knowledge of API /web services testing tools, such as Postman, Insomnia

  • Strong understanding of performance testing end to end (Workload modelling/Execution/Report analysis/Recommendations for improvement)
