In our team you will learn:

  • Gain experience in modernising legacy applications within modern Cloud environments.

As a Cloud Migration Architect, you will:

  • Be creating and implementing comprehensive cloud migration strategies, including working with clients to identify business requirements, determining the most suitable cloud architecture, and establishing a clear roadmap for migration. You will also assess the existing infrastructure and applications to produce estimates and identify potential risks, dependencies, and areas for optimisation during the migration process.

  • You will demonstrate your knowledge of cloud platforms to design and implement tailored solutions that meet specific client needs ensuring that the chosen architecture is scalable, secure, and cost-effective while adhering to industry standard processes and compliance requirements and developing and documenting vital design artefacts.

  • You will regularly collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partners smooth migration process. Facilitating effective communication among these parties, agreeing on expectations, and providing guidance.


The following skills and experience are essential:

  • A strong understanding of major cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) is vital for this role, including their core and broader services, such as computing, storage, networking, container, and security components.

  • A deep understanding of both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure is required to build effective solutions adhering to standard methodologies and architecture principles.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (e.g. Source Code Management, Git, Infrastructure as Code) help to ensure efficient deployment and management of cloud resources.

  • A thorough understanding of security standard processes, encryption, data privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements is vital to ensure a secure and compliant cloud environment.

  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including virtual networks, VPNs, load balancing, and DNS, is vital for designing effective cloud solutions.

Set yourself apart:

  • Experience using various migration methodologies, such as rehosting, re-platforming, and refactoring, and familiarity with migration tools like AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate, and Google Cloud Migrate,

  • The ability to analyse and optimise cloud resources for cost, performance, and reliability is essential for maintaining an efficient cloud environment.

  • Good project management skills, including prioritisation, time management, and risk management, help ensure a smooth and successful cloud migration process.

  • As the landscape evolves rapidly, staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard processes is essential.\

  • The ability to pragmatically evaluate trade-offs between various cloud architectures, understand the impact of these decisions and communicate these clearly to a broad audience.
