Data Engineer (ETL, ELT) - £47,000 – Preston/Hybrid
My client is a really exciting Housing Association that invests hugely in Social enterprise and in local community charities. Due to an exciting huge transformation program we are looking to bring onboard a number of Permanent Data Engineers (ETL, ELT) to help with long-term Data Transformation projects.
The Data Engineer you will build, manage and optimise data pipelines and produce the data in an easy-to-read customer format. The Data Engineer (ETL, ELT) will need to be a blend of Data and Analytics to fit into the team.
As one of the new Data Engineers (ETL, ELT) you will have to have an extensive knowledge of Data and analytics, BI tools and Data Science too. You should also have experience working with database languages such as SQL and PL/SQL.
To be considered for one of these roles as a Data Engineer (ETL, ELT) prior experience of the following would also be required:
- ETL,
- ELT
- Data replication
- CDC
- API design
As with all the roles with my client they operate a hybrid working pattern. It would only be necessary for the Data Engineer (ETL, ELT) to come into the office once or twice a week with the rest of the time working remote.
